We are looking for an A&R assistant to support our team with administrative and A&R duties.

  • TITLE: A&R Assistant

  • REPORTS TO: Directors of A&R, Label and Distribution

  • LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain calendars, incoming calls, reporting, travel and expenses for executive and creatives.

  • Handle A&R administrative responsibilities including booking studio time, collecting split sheets and credits for releases, and uploading and editing metadata on releases

  • Conduct A&R research and share finding with team on a continuous basis

  • Be a proactive concierge for your manager and their roster of talent.  

  • Ability to forecast artist needs and solve problems creatively.

  • Have a strong understanding of the landscape of songwriters, artists, managers and A&R's that we interact with frequently.

  • Capable of identifying great songs, songwriters, producers and artists. 

Beneficial Experience

  • Speak Pro-Tools/Abelton language

  • Knowledge of song structure (i.e. hook, verse, pre, post)

  • G-suite

  • Professional or creative experience in music a plus

Compensation Range

  • $19/hour - $20/hour

  • The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualification of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
