Kylie Cantrall
Actress, singer, and songwriter Kylie Cantrall is one to watch. Kylie stars as ‘Red’, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, in the hit Disney franchise “Descendants: The Rise of Red”. Prior, she starred in season 4 of the critically acclaimed “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” as social media star ‘Dani’, a modern take on ’Sharpay Evans’. Most recently, she was featured in Marvel’s “Spidey and His Amazing Friends” as the voice of superheroine ‘White Tiger’. Previously, Kylie played the title role of ‘Gabby Duran’ in Disney Channel’s popular series “Gabby Duran and the Unsittables.” Other television credits include Disney series’ “Bizaardvark” and “Raven’s Home.”
Kylie made her voice acting debut in the Disney animated feature “Ron’s Gone Wrong,” where she starred alongside Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis. The multi-hyphenated Kylie is gearing up to release new music, building on the success of her recent release “Red,” the opening number of “Descendants: The Rise of Red”. Kylie was named by People Magazine as one of the “Talented Artists Making Their Mark” in 2023. She then released an EP stemming from her “10-minute series” on her social channels, where she writes a new song in 10 minutes.
The music video for “Elastic” dropped in February 2024. In anticipation of her upcoming album, the latest single “Boy for a Day” will release in November 2024. At the age of 8, Kylie became an online sensation with her YouTube series “Hello Kylie,” where she interviewed musicians such as Pentatonix, Matty B. & Jordyn Jones. As a start to her career, Kylie was offered a record deal from Capitol Records at just 10 years old and opened for Grammy-nominated artist Post Malone. Cantrall later released music videos including “Snake,” “Feature from Quavo,” “Abraca DAH Brah,” and “Sleep is for Suckas”. Through Disney Channel Voices, an initiative that showcased diverse music and gave multi-talented young stars aplatform to express themselves and make a deeper connection with their fans, Kylie released her music video for “Feeling Some Kinda Way”on YouTube.
