TITLE: HR Director
REPORTS TO: SVP of Operations
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities
General HR/Operations:·
Daily Employee Relations: Conflict resolution, problem solving, and teaming conversations.
Onboarding: Sending out new hire paperwork, processing all competed paperwork, and verifying government documents.
Maintain all employee data in Run Payroll including compensation, time off reporting, 401k information and health insurance.
Communicate all APG staff updates, expense reminders, office updates, and compliance updates.
Create and assist with corrective actions and performance improvement plans as needed.
Talent Acquisition/Recruiting:
Support with recruiting and sourcing candidates, job postings, and socializing open roles.
Review incoming candidate applications, conduct candidate interviews, and help update APGs talent pipeline.
Create offer letters, run background checks, and send new hire emails to staff.
APGs intern program facilitation: Processing academic letters of credit, signed confidentiality letters, tracking intern information, and partnering with managers on mentorship and compliance.
Benefits/Compensation
Oversee APGs health insurance program, including facilitating open enrollment once a year, manage changes to our plan, and tracking changes/offerings.
Manage Cobra process for separated employees who want to keep their existing health insurance for a specified period of time.
Track market compensation data for APG roles, providing appropriate budgeting and leveling recommendations.
HR Admin/Compliance:
Administer all leave of absences, managing doctors note, creating leave letters, and disability pay with the state.
Liaison with our 3rd party contingent worker payroll solution for temporary worker matters and updates.
Approve contingent worker job descriptions and statements of work for all departments.
Manage the APG HR page, employee directory, and make handbook updates as needed.
Deduct same day sick days from ADP for employees and send confirmation emails.
Gather ADP time off requests for the CEO’s direct reports, send for approval, and process in ADP accordingly.
Send follow-ups to managers for pending time off approvals in ADP.
Keep up-to-date employment compliance posters hung up in all relevant office spaces.
Stay up to date and communicate all relevant/changing workplace plans and compliance protocol.
Requirements
Previous HR and/or recruiting experience within the entertainment business
Must want long-term career in HR
Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Beneficial Experience
Music industry experience
ADP, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Box, AI
Event facilitation experience
Immigration process experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
Compensation Range
Budget: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualification of the individual application, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
